The pressing query of the offseason for many teams is about who their quarterback will be when online games start in September. But in terms of a crew in which that query is practically unanswerable to the position the place the options are plentiful, it can be the New England Patriots. They could trade for a Quarterback like former Patriot Jimmy Garoppolo, draft a single of the many QB’s in the 2021 Draft or indicator a free of charge agent. Can we sell you on a reunion with Cam Newton? Zack Cox will check out to earlier mentioned and we lay out the motives down below!
- Cam Newton has raved about his time with the Patriots and his partnership with Monthly bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels so there is chemistry however there in New England.
- There are improved options primarily based on how Cam Newton completed previous period but he experienced a single of the worst, if not the worst move catchers very last 12 months. He got to camp incredibly late and he had Covid-19 and was not the exact same later on. Just so many aspects performing from him but the argument is there that a complete offseason can deliver unique effects with Newton.
- In phrases of drafting a quarterback, they are in a tough location for drafting a QB at 15. Mac Jones may be a tiny significant at 15 and the major 4 most likely will not drop in addition the Patriots have a good deal of positions to tackle. It is not implausible to believe that they could trade up for a QB, we just really don’t know the probability of that primarily based on the Patriots keep track of record considering that Tom Brady was so trustworthy for 20 many years and they in no way experienced to deal with it in the 1st spherical.
